Zootopia is in theaters starting today – go see it! My entire family saw it earlier this week and loved it! It is one of the best Disney movies I’ve seen and completely different. It is full of humor, spy adventure, and twists and turns until the very end!
Zootopia had us guessing what was going to happen and being surprised over and over, even at the very end. There aren’t many animations like Zootopia! Moms and Dads will enjoy it as much as their kids.
In Zootopia, anyone can be anything. From the largest elephant to the fiercest lion to the smallest shrew, anyone can be anything. This is the message that little bunny, Judy Hopps was taught as a child when she decided to be the first bunny police officer. When it came right down to it, nobody thought she could do it but she didn’t let that stop her.
Zootopia is not unlike many US cities with groups of people that live together and celebrate different cultures. There’s ritzy Sahara Square for desert animals, Tundratown for the polar bears and moose, the hot and humid Rain Forest District, Little Rodentia for the tiniest mammals, and Bunnyburrow for the millions and millions of bunnies.
In this movie, Judy Hopps explores all of Zootopia and learned that not everyone lived by the motto that anyone can be anything. She learned that there were still stereotypes about different animals, like the sly fox and dangerous predators.
She didn’t let this stop her. She formed unlikely friendships, went on amazing adventures, and showed all of Zootopia what she was made of!
This movie is hilarious too! The whole theater was roaring in laughter many times. My favorite scene has to be with the sloths at the DMV.
