I’ve talked plenty of time about the importance of eating dinner together as a family and even how to get the conversation started. Well, a professor from Stetson University claims that playing games together builds self-confidence, promotes essential skills, encourages academic development, and offers lasting memories.
KFC is taking these studies and turning them into a delicious solution – KFC Game Night Bucket! Now, you can enjoy a delicious – and affordable – dinner as a family together while playing your favorite board games. Don’t have any games? No worries, the KFC Game Night Bucket includes an I SPY game right on the bucket!
I received product to facilitate this post.
My family eats nearly every meal together, especially during the Summer. Grabbing this new KFC deal was a pleasure for me for a free night off from cooking! It was also a great excuse to plan a family game night! We love playing games but don’t think to do it often enough in the Summer – for us, it is more of a cold-weather themed night.
Tonight, we pulled out a few games and it was so neat to watch my 9 year old son teach my 7 year old daughter how to play chess! I didn’t know how to play when I was their age, so it amazes me at how well they do! It sure beats another episode of Disney’s “Jessie” on TV – their Netflix obsession this Summer!
Besides our own board games, the bucket includes a fun I SPY game that families with kids of all ages can enjoy playing together. My daughter LOVES I SPY books and posters, so she absolutely loved this! Like I said, we typically reserve game nights for the Winter but it was so fun and refreshing to have a game night in the Summer. Thanks, KFC for the suggestion!
The KFC Game Night Bucket is a great value too. Locally, for just $20.99, you can feed a family of 5 with 10 pieces of chicken (or 12 chicken tenders), 2 large sides, and 4 biscuits. (Prices may vary.)
This new bucket is a great excuse to gather your family together for a fun evening of games at home, on your back porch, or even at the park. Don’t forget to enjoy the simple things in life this Summer – a delicious dinner and fun with your family.
