I love baking apple crisp in the cold winter months but hate to fire up the oven in the warmer months. The Dole Fruit Crisps gives all the delicious fruit crisps taste without the added baking time or heating up the house. I received a selection of the new Apple Cinnamon, Apple Pear, and Peach DOLE Fruit Crisps to review with my family for this post.
Yummy Snack any time of day – Dole Fruit Crisps
Dole Fruit Crisps make a yummy snack any time of day – you can enjoy them cold out of the fridge, room temp from the cabinet or warmed in the microwave. Dole Fruit Crisp is a new, delicious snack that your whole family will enjoy. They are delicious snack size portions of juicy DOLE fruit in a fruit sauce. It comes with a crispy, crumbly topping of whole grain oats and brown sugar.
All 3 varieties are yummy Apple Cinnamon, Apple Pear, and Peach. The Peach is the favorite of both my kids – with or without the crispy topping.
To add the crispy topping, just open the sealed lid and pour into the fruit when you are ready to eat. The combination of juicy fruit and crispy oats is just perfect. I send them to school for my kids’ snack times and in their lunch boxes. They also make convenient snacks between school and sports practice. I like that they don’t need to be refrigerated or heated up to enjoy – although they are delicious both ways as well as at room temperature. It just makes a quick, convenient snack no matter where they are enjoyed.
I also like that they are made with Whole Grain Oats and are rich in Vitamin C too. At only 160 calories or less, it is a snack anyone can enjoy without the guilt to!
