What’s the first thing your family does when the weather warms up? Besides heading outdoors, my family heads to the freezer for some frozen treats. We don’t eat much ice cream, we tend to go for popsicles.  My husband got me hooked on Dreyer’s Edy’s brand fruit bars when we were first married. I like that these fruit bars are made with Real Fruit and all ingredients are derived from Natural Sources.  Sure, it’s still a sweet treat, but with more nutritional benefits than other flavored popsicles.

Hands on Review of Dreyer’s Edy’s Antioxidant Fruit Bars

We like to try new flavors, so I was happy to review Dreyer’s Edy’s new Fruit Bars Antioxidant made with Super Fruits. My kids didn’t mind either!

This season, Dreyer’s introduced a new flavor, Goji White Grape flavor. The new assorted fruit ice bars now includes Pomegranate, Açai Blueberry, and Goji White Grape.  If you are looking for a more ‘grown up’ taste for a sweet treat, these are for you. We shared these ice bars with my husband’s parents while they visited one evening. From the youngest kid to the oldest adult, we all liked the new tart and tangy flavors. These are not a typical boring flavors, they are complex and enjoyable.

So, the flavors are big winners with our family. There are other great benefits of Dreyer’s Antioxidant Fruit Bars too. With only 50 calories per bar, anyone can enjoy this tasty frozen treat. I like that I can give my kids this healthier snack any time of year. Even when on a diet, this is a great treat for me too, guilt-free. Plus, this new Antioxidant line is packed with a dose of free radical-fighting antioxidants. Since the Antioxidant Fruit Bars are made with real fruit, they are an excellent source of Vitamin C too. Vitamin C is known to help fight against aging skin, fatigue, and other health issues.

We will be enjoying the new Antioxidant Fruit Bars this Spring in addition to our other favorites (Strawberry!). This is a healthier snack option with health benefits that you can take pleasure in giving your kids.
