GoPicnic Review
GoPicnic offers a great variety of boxed meals that are all-natural, including options that are gluten-free and vegan. Before I go any further, I must tell you that the meals are delicious! The ingredients are top-quality, full of flavor, and satisfying even for a man.
GoPicnic makes eating healthy on the go so easy! I even send GoPicnic meals with my kids to school for lunch. They love it! And so do I, if you follow this blog, you probably have heard me whine and complain about how I dislike packing school lunches, GoPicnic makes it so easy so I can cheat on those extra-rushed days – while giving my kids a healthy lunch!
Sometimes it seems that there is no other option than fast-food, like when you are traveling. With GoPicnic, you can even eat healthy while on vacation and on road-trips. After going to Cedar Point a couple GoPicnic. It is a gluten-free meal, not that my son noticed. He liked the Turkey Pepperoni Meal with Asiago cheese spread and crackers. The meal also came with dried cranberries and pineapple and toffee as a treat. The entire meal is just 290 calories. Amazing!
The GoPicnic Ready-to-Eat Meals Peanut Butter was the perfect meal for my 5 year old daughter. It has her favorite – peanut butter with crackers applesauce (which wasn’t the easiest in the car), bunny crackers, and gummy candies. The all-natural meal came in at 460 calories. This is the perfect kid-friendly meal as everything in it is familiar with kids, although it is a more natural, healthier meal than the other brands you would find at the store that are similar.
My husband enjoyed the GoPicnic Ready-to-Eat Meals, Salami + Cheese, which I wanted! It includes salami slices, crackers, Asiago cheese spread, fruit & nut mix, and a chocolate cookie cluster. His meal was just 350 calories. He was very surprised at the flavor, quantity and quality of the meal. It was satisfying enough to fill him after a busy day riding the roller coasters all day!
I enjoyed the GoPicnic Ready-to-Eat Meals, Turkey Stick + Crunch, another gluten-free meal. It included a turkey snack stick, potato chips, fruit bites, fruit & nut mix and a double chocolate cookie. My meal was only 330 calories. I was most surprised at the quality of the ingredients. GoPicnic provides very tasty, natural items in their meals. I couldn’t pack something this healthy and balanced. And the double chocolate cookie was so good that I didn’t even offer anyone a taste, it was so moist and delicious!
