As a mom, I’m always looking for healthy snacks for my kids. Kids need snacks, whether they are hiking at the park, at the zoo, at home, or for lunches at school. I want the snacks to be healthy and delicious for my kids. I just came across a line of products that offer delicious nutrition for your kids.

Bear Naked Snacks Review

I love Bear Naked’s phrase “Energy to Play”. Whether it is your kids or yourself, you need engery to play, let alone work. Having a snack as delicious as Bear Naked snacks to provide that extra energy boost is all the better. I’m very familiar with Bear Naked granola. I use it a lot in our yogurts.

I didn’t realize they had trail mix. Many trail mixes at the store are nothing more than chocolate, candy, and a few nuts. With Bear Naked Peak Energy Trail Mix you get 100% pure and natural trail mix filled with whole grain granola clusters, nuts, seeds, and fruit. There are NO Artificial Flavors or Preservatives, NO Cholesterol, NO Hydrogenated oils, NO High Fructose Corn Syrup, 0g Trans Fat
Choose from Cranberry Protein, Peacon Apple Flax, and Chocolate Cherry.

We tried the Chocolate Cherry and are hooked! It is a yummy treat that is good for you. Who knew that was possible! I’d rather snack on this any day instead of chips, candy, or snack cakes. At only about $2.99 a package, it is an affordable, healthy snack too.

Dr Sears Snacks and Drinks Review

Dr Sears Family Essentials offers everything you need from supplements, snacks, and beverages to books and baby care items. With Dr. Sears Popumz, your kids can enjoy the popular snacks that kids like but without all the empty calories, sugars, and processed foods in other brands.

Popumz are 100% all natural whole grain crisps in the flavors that traditional potato chips offer like BBQ, Ranch, and Cheddar.  The Popumz Snack Crisps are 100% all natural wholegrain snack crips in flavors like caramel, vanilla, and chocolate.  Both offer an excellent source of Omega 3s, fiber, and protein with only 5 g sugar per serving. It is a snack your kids will like and you can feel good about giving them.

If your kids like chocolate milk, they will like Dr Sears Cool Fuel Chocolate. I like that it doesn’t need refrigerated so storing is a cinch. Each single serve container is a good source of Omega-3 DHA, contains 18 essential nutrients and antioxidants, and contains no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. My kids loved it. Cool Fuel also comes in Chocolate Banana and Vanilla flavors. Priced at $8.99 for a 4 pack.

My kids both liked the snacks. I packed them in their lunch boxes for school. Each single-serve pack has a picture of a kid on the front ranging in ages from 4-9. My son, who is almost 7 said that some of his friends said he was eating baby food. Yikes. I felt bad for a moment and then he said, “but it was good!”. So, the snacks are good but kids might feel like they are too old for them around 1st grade.
At $3.99 for 5 bags, it is an affordable and healhty alternative to greasy potato chips and snack crisps.

Stretch Island Fruit Co. Review

My kids like fruit, however sometimes it isn’t easy to pack grapes, apricots, and mangos! Stretch Island Fruit Co offers fruit strips that kids (and adults) can’t resist.

Each strip offers 1/2 serving of fruit, is 100% natural with no artificial additives or sugar. It is as good as (or better) fresh fruit. I shared a few samples with my friend and her kids during a recent outing. Her eldest daughter is pretty picky about fruit strips and texture. She loved them and asked her mom to buy them. The flavor and texture are right on. Choose from Apricot, Apple, Grape, Mango, Cherry, Rasberry (my favorite), and Strawberry. I like to pack them in my kids’ lunches for an extra treat that is still good for them! At $2.99 for 8, it is affordable too.

Healthy Snacks and Lunches for Kids

Since being introduced to these products, I’ve enjoyed the convenience of the single serve packaging and the knowledge that the foods are good for my kids. I’ve been packing them for school lunches, snacks for school, as well as on-the-go snacks for where our travels take us. I’m really glad to have been introduced to the above products. It is just an easy way to help my kids eat healthier while they are away at school or snacking while still giving them the tastes they like. Below is a sample, hearty lunch for my son.
