I’ve always liked soft pretzels but hardly think to give them to my kids for snacks, etc. I was recently introduced to Kim & & Scott’s Gourmet Pretzels. Now my kids are hooked and will never let me forget to grab a couple boxes at the grocery store.
Kim & Scott’s Stuffed Soft Pretzels Review
Kim & Scott’s Stuffed Pretzels started in the apartment kitchen of Kim and has grown to mass distribution to Giant Eagle, Target, Walmart and Whole Foods, and Albertsons. Each pretzel is twisted by hand and made from scratch. What makes Kim & Scott’s pretzels even more appealing is that they use all-natural and premium ingredients. If your child has a nut allergy, you should also know that the pretzels are made in a nut-free bakery.
There are many varieties to choose from. I was surprised to find that they were stuffed pretzels as I’ve never had a stuffed pretzel before. And the variety is amazing! Pizza Pretzel, Grilled Cheese Pretzel, Cheddar Jalapeno Pretzel, Spinach Feta Pretzel, Cream Cheese Pretzel, Egg & Cheese Pretzel, Apple Cinnamon Pretzel, Chocolate Crumb Pretzel, Cinnamon Roll Pretzel. Other products include Stuffed Bagels, Gluten Free Pretzels, and traditional pretzels.
We were able to find the Pizza Pretzels, Grilled Cheese Pretzels, and Cheddar Jalapeno Pretzels at our local Giant Eagle, as well as some stuffed bagels.
The packages come 2 per box. The first time we had them, I gave my kids their own stuffed pretzel. It ended up being too much for them to eat, so the next time, I gave them 1/2. As a hearty snack, I can eat a full one. You can use a microwave or oven to warm the pretzels. I used the microwave and the pretzels came out very soft and warm, just perfect. My kids said they were really good and asked if we could buy them again!
The pretzels seemed stuffed appropriately. It wasn’t overwhelming or skimpy. It added just enough flavor to the soft, warm pretzel. It is a perfect hearty snack anytime of year, but especially as the weather is starting to cool. Great for at home movie nights too! Some people might even eat these for a lunch, I know I would if I was still working in an office environment.
