We can all use a little extra kindness in our lives. What a stressful time we are living in! In my book, you can’t smile and eat dessert so why not share a little kindness and guaranteed smiles with friends, family, first responders, teachers, and strangers?
The coupons for product redemption, information, and gift card have been provided by Entenmann’s so that I could try the product and share my thoughts and information about Entenmann’s. The opinions expressed in this post are my own and do not reflect the opinions of Entenmann’s.

I’ve always written little notes and put them in my kids lunches since they were little. I hope that it gives them an extra smile during the day. Of course receiving delicious Entenmann’s Minis desserts also put a smile on their faces! 🙂 They have all sorts of great portion-control and lunch-box-size desserts including powdered donuts, snack fruit pies, golden cakes, fudge cakes, brownies, crumb cake, and pound cake. Surprising someone in your life – a neighbor, elderly friend, healthcare working, school staff, teacher, post office letter carrier, first responders, etc would love receiving one mini dessert as a mini act of kindness! Plus, with the pandemic, most people will accept a wrapped treat over homemade!
In fact, our elderly neighbor is now in a nursing home and suffering from depression. 🙁 I decided to make little notes up for her and my kids for their lunches this week playing with the word “donut” in my cute phrases. I know they will put a smile on her face and on the faces of my kids when they open them up!
We are being extra careful when we visit grandparents since the pandemic started. We only visit outside while social distancing. We’ve found a good food option to share are foil pack recipes. I actually created one for Acme Fresh Market and have created in numerous times for friends and family this season. We served this to my in-laws and they decided to make it for us last week. Since they are not comfortable with homemade dessert, I had to get creative. I created this Pineapple Upside Down Cake Foil Pack recipe for our gathering.
To some, it may not seem like an act of kindness since we all got to enjoy the benefits, but to my in-laws it was just perfect. For them, sharing food together, especially dessert is family time. We’ve missed that during the pandemic. Getting creative like we have and with this foil pack dessert recipe, we’ve been able to bring back some normalcy to our family time together. It’s an act of kindness, no matter how small.
I fully believe that there is no act of kindness too small or too insignificant, especially during the days we are living now. To go out of your way to let anyone – someone you know well or not at all – is going to put a much-needed smile on their faces. That’s what Entenmann’s® Mini Acts of Kindness is all about! Share joy and kindness this week or at least by October 9, 2020 when the contest ends! Not only will you make someone feel good but you will feel good doing it….plus, how good would you feel if you won the $10,000 grand prize?!?!!?
In addition to be entered to win the grand prize of $10,000, you entry will also lend to a $1 donation by Entenmann’s to Stomp Out Bullying program. This is an amazing program that helps bring awareness to bullying and even cyber-bullying that our kids face these days.
