Pumpkin Bread Ingredients:
- 3 1/3 cup flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 heavy cups of pumpkin (prepared or canned pumpkin)
- Nuts (optional)
- Raisins (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Make well in center, add oil and eggs.
- Add 2/3 cup water or less.
- Add 2 heavy cups of pumpkin.
- Mix ingredients till smooth.
- Add nuts or raisins (optional).
- Pour into 3 greased and floured bread pans.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
