With each holiday comes added pressure to create fantastic recipes for family and friends. Do yourself and your family a favor and spend your time wisely. It doesn’t have to be 100% from scratch for recipes to be made with love and still taste delicious. I’ve found great shortcuts by using base products and adding my own special touches.

I’m already looking forward to baking special treats for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day, which are both right around the corner. I find a lot of delicious (and easy) recipes on the Pillsbury website and Pillsbury Baking Pinterest page. Utilizing Pillsbury products makes home baked goodies quick and easy, not to mention delicious. You can celebrate more with your family when you aren’t spending so much time in the kitchen!
You may recall the easy Christmas cookie recipe for Peppermint Dipped Chocolate Cookies that I shared last month. They were a cinch to make and a favorite to all who enjoyed them.
I plan to make Valentine Heart Sandwich Cookies look like they are straight from a bakery. Nobody will ever know they are simply Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies with ready-to-spread frosting!
My kids will enjoy using a cookie cutter for the heart shapes as well as putting the sprinkles on too. My kids are always so proud to let everyone know that they made the cookies, especially when everyone is going on and on about how good they taste!
I’m going to make the Glazed Brownie Hearts for my kids’ lunches. They look so delicious and super easy to make! Don’t they look gourmet? Pillsbury makes it easy to make home made goodies that look like they took hours to make but are quick and easy.
It is basically just 1 brownie mix with Pillsbury frosting. If you can still find the Pillsbury Holiday Funfetti Rudolph Red Vanilla on the shelves, it would be the prefect color for rich, red hearts for Valentine’s Day next month.
I have my eye on the Little Lucky Whoopie Pies as a treat for my kids’ lunches for St. Patrick’s Day.
The recipes calls for chocolate cake mix, I’m sure the Dark Chocolate Premium Cake Mix from Pillsbury would be amazing in this recipe. It also calls for a home made frosting but I’d make it simple with the Holiday Funfetti Garland Green Vanilla frosting if you can still find it on the grocery store shelves.
You can celebrate more when you are not spending hours in the kitchen, Pillsbury makes that possible with great recipes and products.
