The first thing I turn to when my family gets a cold is chicken soup. In my last article on How to Treat a Cold , I suggested enjoying a bowl of soup to help with your cold symptoms. Even the Mayo Clinic agrees the anti-inflammatory properties can speed up mucus movement to help you feel better faster. Spoonful of Comfort is even better! Spoonful of Comfort is is a way to send care packages to those that need it the most. You can ship a delicious Chicken Soup care package to any door in the United States.
Spoonful of Comfort Review
Spoonful of Comfort allows you to take care and baby your loved ones, even if you can’t be there. They have an assortment of care packages for Get Well, Sympathy, Thinking of You, College, New Baby, and Corporate Gifts. During all seasons of life, receiving a Spoonful of Comfort is always appreciated.
I was able to review a Spoonful of Comfort Get Well Care Package that included a 1/2 gallon of handcrafted chicken soup in a mason jar, 6 made from scratch rolls, and 1/2 dozen oatmeal raisin cookies. The soup came in an insulated package and was mostly frozen when we received it.
I love the gift touches of ribbons and the get well note card that came with the care package.
The 1/2 gallon of Spoonful of Comfort Chicken Soup was enough to feed my family of 4. As you can see, it was exactly 4 bowls worth.
There were hearty pieces of chicken in each bowl. The vegetables were sizable as well. I liked the home-made style noodles!
I wasn’t sure how the rolls would taste since they were shipped to my house from who knows where. I was delighted to find they were very fresh and very soft. I did add a side salad to our dinner to even it out since there would be no seconds on the soup.
It was the perfect dinner for my family because we were a little under the weather when we received it. Spoonful of Comfort is a great way to cheer someone that you love up. I was happy not to have to make dinner that night and to enjoy a delicious and healthy meal with my family.
I would really enjoy receiving this get well care package if I was sick for sure – or at home with a new baby! Not only will your loved one feel better from the health benefits of chicken soup, but they will feel better knowing that you cared enough to send them a little love as well.
