Treats for Easter by Hershey’s

Spring is just around the corner, I can feel it – even though it is going to be a whopping 26 degrees this weekend. My kids have come home from school asking to start a garden already (thanks to our local garden club), Spring Break is a few weeks away, and the store shelves are stocked with Easter Candy and all sorts of Treats for Easter by Hershey’s.  Ahh – Spring is in the air! 🙂

It isn’t too soon to start buying all your candy and treats for Easter now – so you can start enjoying your favorites longer. 🙂 I like to keep a little candy dish out for every season. For Easter, I have the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Eggs out for a little treat. (See dish below.) It’s festive and nothing too much to spoil dinner!

My daughter’s kindergarten class is collecting Easter candy for the Akron Children Services, so we already have a cute new Hershey’s Chocolate Easter Bunny Snapsy to add to the Easter basket. It is adorable, almost like a puzzle. You can snap off a portion of the bunny to share – which is great because moms can’t resist Hershey’s either.

We were fortunate enough to receive a Hershey’s Easter Basket to check out the latest treats for Easter by Hershey’s. We’ll be giving away a Hershey’s Easter Basket too – with similar products – see below!  You can’t go wrong with a Cadbury chocolate bunny, Reese’s Eggs, York, Hershey’s Eggs, and Cadbury eggs!  They are all pretty much essentials for any Easter Basket!

My son was delighted to have the treat of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs tonight – they are so delicious! I can’t wait for Easter for them – I noticed they had heart-shaped ones for Valentine’s Day this year too – yummy!

I don’t think I’ve ever broken open a Cadbury Creme Egg until tonight – have you?  The deliciousness of the milk chocolate exterior and ooey gooey creme interior can’t be beat. I like to put a couple in my kids’ Eater baskets AND hide a couple with their Easter Egg Hunt – just for fun!

Easter chocolate is like Heaven for my daughter. She’s a total chocolate girl!  Tonight, I let her indulge in a Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Egg – to her utter delight! She was kind enough to share a bite with me – she’s such a good girl. The combination of Hershey’s chocolate and marshmallow is divine.  I have one on my desk right now and am thinking about opening it right now! It is so hard to resist.

Like I said, Hershey’s offers treats for Easter from all of their brands. I like to add a little variety to our Easter baskets.  This year, I’ll be adding the Jolly Rancher Sours Soft & Chewy Candy Bunnies – as well as Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans. I’ve never had the Sours Bunnies before and they are so addicting! If you or your kids like sour candy, you’ve gotta check them out. They aren’t so sour that they will make you pucker but they are sour! Just sprinkle them over your kid’s Easter Basket along with the jelly beans.

I love how treats for Easter by Hershey’s are adorable and always delicious. Don’t be tempted to go for the no-brand chocolates and candies that spring up at Easter at the store. You never know what you are going to get. With Hershey’s, you know the treats for Easter are the high quality, delicious flavors your family already knows and trusts – and enjoys!

Building an Easter Basket

My husband and I collect items for both our kids’ Easter Baskets and prepare them the night before together. It has become a tradition that we both enjoy.  We always include something religious like a kids devotional book to keep Jesus at the forefront of what Easter is all about. I also like to include a stuffed bunny of some sort along with a couple small toys or mini-games that I know my kids will enjoy. For kids, the best part of an Easter Basket is Easter Candy!  I like to include a variety of chocolates, jelly beans, and other candy.

Hershey’s has a collection of adorable Easter Basket ideas to help you create the perfect Easter Basket this year for your kids, spouse, or friend.  Ideas include a princess Easter basket, baseball Easter basket, artist Easter basket, and more.  I like how each theme has a list of supplies you’ll need and even instructions on how to create the Easter basket.

Hershey’s also has great Easter ideas for decorating, crafts, and more that look fun to do with your kids over Easter break.
