Local Cleveland Company Offers Gluten-Free, Artisan Granola… on the Go

Taste that rocks your world, flavor that rocks your soul form Cleveland-based, Twenty-4 Zen.

This gluten-free facility proudly hand crafts vegan artisan granola in small batches with high flavor non-GMO ingredients.

They also happen to employ individuals with disabilities. I don’t know about you but these values are important to me. Not only are we buying local, healthy food, but we’re keeping local folks employed too.

I sampled several protein-packed granola flavors: S’mores, Lemon Almond Ginger Nugget, Mocha Hemp Seed Munch, Salty Caramel Chocolate Chunk, Mexican Hot Chocolate and Bananas Foster.

Hands down, my favorite Twenty-4 Zen Vegan Artisan Granola flavor is the Bananas Foster. I opened the re-sealable pouch and encountered tons of deliciously sweet, plump, freshly-dehydrated bananas caramelized in their own vanilla syrup then wrapped in premium gluten-free oats drenched in a homemade bananas foster glaze. I was really bummed out when the bag was empty. A close second was the Mexican Hot Chocolate granola  – with just enough heat and a complementing duet of cinnamon and cocoa. This tasted wonderful in my plain Greek yogurt parfait. My third fave was the Lemon Almond Ginger Nugget granola. Different but delicious!

I love that I can open a pouch, pour in some cold milk, grab a spoon and I have a healthy, quick breakfast on the go. These are great for busy school days when you’re running late… again! Or, for a portable snack that you can enjoy anywhere. The granola is crunchy and fresh, not clumpy or overly sweet and contains such healthful ingredients as: agave nectar, non-dairy chocolate chips and cocoa butter, molasses, honey and expeller pressed canola oil.
