Missing your college kids yet? Want to see and talk to them everyday? Now you can with the Logitech HD Pro WebCam C910. I had a webcam when they first came out.  It was hard to install, hand incredibly poor light quality, and no microphone.  The C910 is amazing- and my kids are bouncing around the room in excitement over what this can do.  Even if you are not a super tech, you can easily install this software in 5 minutes and begin using the webcam to talk with your loved ones!

Hands On Review of the Logitech HD Pro WebCam C910

Out of the box the Logitech C910 connects onto my LCD screen with a simple sturdy hinge connector that has no glue or adhesive.  It can come off quickly. Attaching to my monitor is as simple as placing it on and adjusting the clip. I attached it to my monitor, my husband’s monitor, and my laptop and it fit them all easily even though they are all different sizes.

THIS high end webcam includes an Auto Focus Carl Zeiss Wide Angle Lens.  Dual Microphones for Stereo recording which means the video will sound like your voice does in real-life.  The full HD wide angel camera lens is excellent for capturing video and multiple people – mom AND dad can talk to their college student at the same time! Or you can actually tell if your college student’s dorm room is clean! This WebCam even captures 10 megapixel pictures! The RightLight 2 technology gives you perfect lighting even in dim lighting settings, it auto adjust so you have the best possible pictures.

Become a moving Alien, Dinosaur, and more with the Avatars. The eyes, head, and mouth will move as you do!

Face accessories move with you too, give yourself the royal crown you deserve, grow some facial hair, and more just for fun!

Fun Filters gives your entire screen funky and silly images! It’s hard not to have fun with the C910!

Aren’t we the best looking couple ever?!

With Video Masks, you can insert your eyes and mouth into ANY picture – or Face – this is great for kids to ‘surprise’ grandma.

C910 takes 10megapixel Pictures

The C910 takes 10megapixel pictures which is a great size for 4×6 prints as well as sharing online. With a simple click of 1 button, you can email your picture, post it to facebook or to youtube. Logitech made everything super easy and high quality with the C910! You can even edit your photo with the included software.

How is the Camera HD and what does that mean again?

The C910 Webcam has enough pixels to fill a full HD television with high quality video- that’s 1080 dots across.  This can be done in record mode only.

The C910 can also communicate via various Instant Messageing Agents at HD 720 pixels- that’s still VERY good, and it’s a good compromise when you consider the DSL or even Cable Connection is only so capable at various times of the day.
