Biggest Loser Cal Max Electronic Scale Review

The Biggest Loser has inspired many to get healthy, lose unwanted weight, and maintain it. Taylor USA makes it easier than ever to loose weight with their Biggest Loser Cal Max Electronic Scale. I was excited to review this product in hopes to shed a few pounds and have the visual encouragement to maintain it.

Hands On Review of Biggest Loser Cal Max Electronic Scale

I have always heard that you can’t just go by the number on the scale to know if you are at the right weight for your body type.  To lose weight, I would just consume less calories but I never knew how many calories I was already eating to maintain my current weight or how much I would need to consume to lose weight. Now, Taylor Precision Product can help me with this dilemma. I’m sure if I stopped munching on the tortilla chips and guacamole as I write this post, that would help too!

The Cal Max Electronic Scale is easy to use straight out of the box. Place the scale on a solid, hard surface. Just tap it on to initialize it. Step off. Step back on and your weight will appear on the screen. The screen is easy to read with 2.1″ line readout. I didn’t dare jump on the scale for this post but my 3 year old did so willingly. 🙂

The Cal Max is a clean white color with SureFoot platform soft grips on top. It rest on 4 padded feet and is very stable.  This scale would fit nicely with any bathroom decor.

Using Scale Memory Settings

Up to 4 people can set their personal information easily by following the prompts. You’ll enter your height, age, gender, and activity level to calculate your BMI number and estimated daily calories. You only need to do this once and it is stored in the memory. When you step on the scale, select your memory # by pressing the easy buttons on the side of the scale up or down to your memory # (1-4). Step on the scale, it will calculate your weight and number of calories you need to maintain that weight.

By using the calories as an indication of what you need to maintain your weight, you can decide how many calories to take away from your daily diet to lose weight. On average, if you take away 300 calories daily, you could lose 1 lb in 12 days doing nothing except reducing your calorie intake. That is 31 pounds a year. Cal Max can help you gradually lose weight or maintain your current weight.

I sure wouldn’t want my weight kept in memory – it would have to be erased IMMEDIATELY with no way to trace it – UGH! Okay, so another product I would enjoy owning is the Biggest Loser™ Hand Blender with Whisk & Cup. I suppose it wouldn’t need to be the Biggest Loser name brand – but the hand blender is what I could use often = saving me on my exercise with the arm/wrist action! – LOL

  7. sarah woods says:

  12. Jammie says:

I have struggled with my weight all my life, it started after my little brother passed, now that I am starting to creep past 31 I NEED to get this under control. However, trying to add calories and such is a pain and I have no idea how to properly do this. I would love to win this scale then maybe I would know my accurate weight. I would also love to own the Biggest loser kitchen scale, then I can actually weigh out a serving instead of trying to guess.

I commmented on your Pillsbury Finalist status, entry 1.

To all of us who are trying to lose a few pounds. I received an email explaining that we were weighing ourselves all wrong. The picture illustrated the proper way to weigh. Lay flat on your back with your feet in the air, place the scale on your feet.. You will soon notice that the weight just falls off…HeHe!!! Nothing like seeing the picture but cute neverless.
