Are you a sucker for a good chick flick? I absolutely am! I love to “torment” Doug with sappy, sweet films. My favorites are Christmas-y films. Winter adds a bit of magic! I want to share with you a brand new film that is at the top of my girl movies list. An Evergreen Christmas.
An Evergreen Christmas
Enter Evie Lee, a busy young woman living a glamorous Hollywood life. Everything comes to a screeching halt when she is forced to return back to the small world of Balsam Falls, Tennessee. Following the passing of her father Evie learns she owes a MASSIVE inheritance tax on the her family’s Christmas tree farm.
Evie has some very big decisions to make and is torn between doing what she wants or saving her family’s farm. Her boss and over zealous boyfriend make Evie feel forced to return to Hollywood to pursue her music, but she also doesn’t want to let down her younger brother and grandfather. While you watch Evie try to make the best choice you also meet a great family who loves and supports each other. In An Evergreen Christmas, you feel the love of a small town who protects their own and you remember the real life stress of growing up.
A Great Family Movie
An Evergreen Christmas is a a family movie rated PG it has wonderful cast including Robert Loggia, Charleene Closshey, Booboo Stewart, Naomi Judd. Directed by Jeremy Culver and written by Jeremy and Morgen Culver. As a mom who once had dreams that were a tad unrealistic, this movie reminds me you can always be successful just not always how you expect to be.
