As moms, it’s our responsibility to protect our kids. Do you have concerns about your water and what may be lurking in it? As a mom, I was concerned for my family’s health and safety with our water. There is no need to be concerned or feel helpless if you have a water problem or concern, it’s simple to find the solution once you know what the problem is. I was happy to review the Everpure Water Analysis Kit to find out what was in our water.
Everpure Water Analysis Kit Hands On Review
Contaminents like lead and chlorine are easily detectable but others may not be so easy. Although not easily detectable, lead, heavy metals, asbestos, parasytic cysts, oxidized minerals, chloramine, VOCs, THMs, flouride, and MTBE can cause hazardous conditions for yourself and home. The previous owners of the house had severe kidney problems which could be a result of asbestos in well water. Plus, our water tasted funny. I have been concerned about our water since we moved into this house several months ago.
The Everpure Water Analysis Kit comes with everything you need to hold your own little “science experiment” as my son called it. Actually, he’s right, it is a scientific assessment for parents concerned with the taste and purity of their family’s drinking water.
The first step is to freeze the ice pack for 8 hours before testing your water. Be sure to only test your water Monday – Thursday and not during a holiday. It’s vital for accurate test results for your water to get to the testing lab within 24 hours.

Testing your water is easy with this kit. Simply remove any strainer, aerator or the like from your faucet. Then, disinfect your spigot, it probably needs it anyway. There are several bottles to fill with your tap water, do so according to the easy to follow instructions. Place everything back in the styrofoam, fill out the laboratory paperwork with the date and your address, place the mailing label on the box and you are done! Then mail your kit out next day delivery, this is essential or the results will not be accurate.

Getting the results of my water test kit
Processing and getting your results back takes about 8-10 days. I received 2 envelopes on the same day, one from the National Testing Laboratories and one form Everpure. Each included comprehensive results from my water test. Page by page, it outlined my water’s results compared to national standards for the following categories: Microbiologicals, Inorganic Analytes Metals, Physical Factors, Organic Analytest including Trihalomethanes and Volatiles. Don’t worry if you don’t know the categories, it is broken down by individual factors such as lead, iron, alkalinity, Chloroform, chloride, etc. Plus, the National Testing Laboratories gives a summary of each category so you know right away what your where your water problems originate.
The Everpure letter began with the overall picture of our water. In general, our water meets the EPA requirements. It does contain levels of iron, TDS, alkalinity, and turbidity (dirt). Full report was attached.
My test results recommended the Everpure ROM III reverse osmosis system. This system mounts under the cabinet. This product provides premium quality that water is sparkling without any unwanted tastes and odors.
The Everpure Water Analysis Kit gave me most of all peace of mind. I now know what my water problems are and how I can easily solve them. Thanks, Everpure!

I would be afraid to do this. Sometimes I feel like maybe it’s better if I didn’t know! But you’re right, as a Mom, we have to!
My husband, son, and I drink a lot of water. Most of the time we buy it in a refillable 5 gallon jug, but when that runs out we drink tap water. It would be interesting to see what’s in the tap water! kekagel(at)yahoo.com
The water at our house is terrible! We had to install a reverse osmosis filtration system in order to be able to drink it and cook with it.
Thanks for this review. I never knew about this kit and it would be great to see what kind of water we are drinking in the house.
hmmmmmmm….I’d love their reverse osmosis system!
I love their faucets. I’d like to have their Victorian Dual Temperature Drinking Water Faucet.

On the surface, I believe the Everpure H-1200 filtration system filter would be the right choice for our needs; however, that may change depending upon the outcome of testing and analysis of our water.
I would love one of the water faucets in my home.
Thanks

i learned that ” Asbestos, which was commonly used to strengthen concrete water pipes, can still be found in drinking water across the United States” That’s disturbing. Especially in our more rural city.

We are planning to buy water filtration system and learned about reverse osmosis systems!!!
The ROM III features a normal production rate of 14.4 gallons per day at a 1/2 gallon per minute flow rate. I’m completely excited that I found your site because we sincerely need to do something about our water situation. Currently we have to drive 45 minutes to get bottled water for the week. Before we invest in the ROM III, at 680 bucks, it would sure be great to know for sure that that is what we need rather than simply guess. Thanks for the helpful review and caring about our well being!
