This new Elmo ABC toy has delighted both my 4 and 6 year olds. Intended for kids ages 2-4, Elmo is so contagious that even older kids want to join in on the fun.
Seven letter blocks come with the Sesame Street Elmo’s Find & Learn Alphabet Blocks toy. Each block has 4 letters with a picture of something that starts with that letter. Items are familiar to kids ages 2-4 like elephants, umbrellas, and Oscar the grouch! When you place a block into Elmo’s lap, it turns him into ABC Elmo! He will teach your kids ABCs, letter sounds, vocabulary, and more. There are connectors at the bottom of the block that connect to Elmo.

This toy Elmo has two modes of play. You can play the letter and sound identification game or sing along to happy alphabet songs. My daughter will play with this toy for a solid 40 minutes or so before she even realizes it! She loves searching for the correct block when Elmo asks for it. She likes to do it as fast as she can.
This talking Elmo toy is excellent for teaching listening skills! Your child has to listen to Elmo or they won’t know which block to search for. If they don’t hear it the first time, or need reminded, there is a “question mark” button that can be pushed. My daughter had a hard time understanding a couple words that Elmo spoke like Oscar and Snuffy (Snuffleupagus) because she didn’t really know who they were.
