Instant Off Water Saver Review

My kids forget to turn off the water faucet all of the time or they waste water as they leave it running while they are brushing their teeth. It has always been a challenge to get my kids to not waste water. I found a great product that not only eliminates wasting water but it is easy to use and has a host of other benefits. This product is Instant-Off.

Hands On Review of Instant-Off Water Saver

Don’t worry about the installation, it takes less than a minute with no tools required. You don’t even have to put this on the honey-do-list, it’s that easy! Just unscrew the old aerator on any faucet and twist on the Instant-Off Water Saver is an Instant Shut-Off Aerator. There are a variety of Instant-Off types for the home, for professionals, and even for your pets. We were lucky enough to sample the 3 of the home version of Instant Shut-Off Aerator. It’s suppose to save up to 10,000 gallons of water per year, a number I can’t fathom with such a simple device. Test results back up their claim, see below.

The Instant Off Instant Water Saver is so simple to use. You set the faucet to the desired temperature, it will be left at this temperature until you change it again. Once the Instant-Off is installed, all you do is push the rod on for water, once you release the rod, it turns off. The Instant-Off can be used anywhere including bathrooms, kitchens, utility sinks at home, on boats, in the RV, anywhere there is a faucet. It can even stop an annoying drippy faucet.

This is a great product for the kitchen. You probably can guess what #1 problem it will solve in the kitchen. Washing hands with chicken on them! I always hate to reach for the faucet when my hands after cutting up raw chicken. With the Instant-Off, I just push the rod on without ever touching the faucets. This product reduces the risk for cross contamination. If you want to fill a pot or something where you want continuous water flow, just push up on the rod and twist 1/4 turn.

Instant-Off is great in the bathroom too. I know my kids will not leave the water running after going to restroom when they use the instant-off. The kids think it is great fun to use. It does take a time to get use to this device and using it but soon, you’ll be expecting faucets outside of your home to come on instantly like at home. It’s amazing how easily we can be ‘trained’ by a good product.

INSTANT OFF is also the fastest, least expensive way to stop a drippy faucet.
Restaurants, Dentists, Doctors,Hospitals and Old Age Homes install the
INSTANT OFF, because its much cleaner than touching faucet handles.

I have never seen anything like this! How neat. I learned that they offer a one year unconditional warranty, which is pretty awesome.

I have a very bad problem when I’m cooking or preparing food i don’t want to touch faucet handles so i leave the water running, I know bad so I learned that when I want water to keep running The consumer models offer a continuous flow option. For continuous water, a slight push up and twist on the rod allows a
continuous stream. Twist again, and the water instantly shuts off
This would really save water at my hose because the rod would be getting rinsed off and less germs would be spread.

Thank you so very much for giving me a chance to be a winner

I learned these also come in chrome toned, which would be a great way to go green in my home!

Oh this has got to save on money! This would be wonderful to have. I am already green concious, but this would def help reduce how much we use even more.

  11. Alli Corley says:

As I was reading other people’s posts, this might be a good idea for my preschool as well. A lot of the kids have a hard time reaching certain faucets, and this would be a great way to help them help themselves!

  12. Alli Corley says:

I think this is a great idea to reduce cross contamination! It would also be nice for my husband. He is a mechanic, and I hate when he washes his hands in the kitchen because he tends to leave a residue on the handle. This would be a great fix!

  13. sarah buki says:

I recently got one of these and love it! Although I have not seen the water bill yet (but am looking forward to it), what I really love about it is that my 2 year old who can not normally reach to turn the sink on, is now able to wash his hands on his own. Yes they can market this for how much money and water you can save, but they can also market this to a parent of any toddler!

  14. Cindy Orley says:

Kitty, you wouldn’t even have to wait until you receive your new sink. Use it on your current sink and then just unscrew it and put it on the new one. They can be easily relocated!

  15. clenna says:

I learned that it installs in less than 2 minutes – wow – maybe I can even install it myself!

I learned this–We manufacture 16 models of the INSTANT-OFF forevery possible faucet type and use.
So they have for kitchen, basement, etc. Going to keep my eye on this product line, we are getting a new sink in 4 months.

  17. Cindy Orley says:

I didn’t know I loved this so much until early this morning. My 3 year old didn’t need help washing her hands after going potty so I could stay in bed a few extra minutes. Normally, she can’t reach the faucets. She loves her independence.

  18. Cassie Spain says:

the main thing i love, besides saving water, is that it helps prevent germ spread. i hadn’t even thought of that til i read it just now. LOVE that!

  19. Angie H. says:

The site says that it’s good for “hand disabilities”, I think this would be great for my kids who can’t quite reach the faucet handles too!

  20. Jaque says:

I loved the precise installation instructions on the site and I learned the Instant Off Automatic Faucet Aerator is the Fastest, Easiest way to Stop a Drippy Faucet!

    Thank you. 🙂
