Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 Review

Sometimes you don’t realize what you have isn’t all that good until you find something really great. Logitech has a new line of wireless mice and I was offered to review one. Being that Logitech is the #1 World Leader in Mice, it is a name you can trust.

Hands-On Review of Logitech Wireless Mouse M305

I’ve had my old mouse for a while, I don’t even know how many years. It was a typical clunky, cream color, wired mouse with a scroll button. It worked just fine, usually. When I plugged in the nano-receiver into my USB port and realized that I no longer was tied down by a wire, it was quite refreshing.

The new Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 is nothing like my old mouse. The hard plastic is now replaced with a soft rubber grips on both sides of the mouse where your thumb and fingers rest. It is just effortless comfort from the rubber grips to the natural shape of the mouse. It is smaller and contoured to fit naturally under my hand. There’s nothing large or bulky about this mouse.

This picture shows the contour of the mouse.

There’s no learning curve with this mouse. There is nothing complicated to learn. There is no software to install, just plug and forget.

It just fits naturally, works seamlessly, and is pretty. I’ve never had a fun, colorful mouse. I love the emerald green, it brings life and fun to my desktop. This new line comes in a variety of colors so your mouse can reflect your individual personality.

Switching from a desktop to a laptop mouse can be unpleasant. This mouse is a perfect option as it can be used for either.  I could easily bring it with me to use with my laptop as the nano-receiver just stores right inside the mouse. I like that I don’t have to ‘get use to’ another mouse when I have to use switch to my laptop. The mouse is small enough to easily pack in my laptop bag but not as small as other laptop mice that are uncomfortable. This is a comfortable, stylish wireless mouse to go.

When out in about at a coffee shop or other places with busy wireless environments, there is no lag or delay in performance because of the 2.4GHz cordless technology. Plus, I don’t have to worry about my battery dieing all of a sudden. One battery will last for months as it automatically sleeps when not in use. Plus, the indicator light will let you know when your battery is running low so you don’t get surprised by a dead battery at a crucial time.

Logitech Wireless Desktop® MK300 for $39.99 seems like a great deal to me. I will most likely be purchasing this soon since I have been having some sticky key problems with mine. I like that its sleek and a real biggie is with intelligent power management, you can go months without replacing the batteries. My current set up is not logitech and it uses batteries like there’s no tomorrow.
