When SmartKnitKIDS contacted me about reviewing their seamless socks for kids, I was interested because kids can always use quality socks. What I found out as I reviewed the product, SmartKnitKIDS is a whole lot more than a good pair of socks.
SmartKnitKIDS seamless socks are high quality socks made of Polyester, X-static, and Lycra. What makes these socks truly unique is that they are 100% truly seamless. My son went through a stage where every tag had to be cut out of his shirts and pants, it’s good to know that there is a sock option as well. Their tag line is “No Seams to Bug Ya!” and with kids feet wiggling around, those seams can get in the way. What intrigued me even further was not only the convenience of seamless socks but the necessity this is for kids with Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism. What a relief for parents to find high quality socks that can make life just a little bit easier on them and their kids.
Hands On Review of SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Socks
The first thing that caught our attention was that the socks are form fitting. This may take a bit of getting use to for some people but not my kids. They wore them right away and liked them. A huge benefit of form fitting socks is that they will not wrinkle, bunch, or fall down. Socks that don’t cooperate bothers everyone, wearing form fitting SmartKnitKIDS seamless socks solves this problem. Having form-fitting socks for infants is a huge convenience for moms as babies like to wiggle around and lose socks all of the time. Another smart feature of the SmartKniKIDS socks is that the socks are heal-less which means that your kids will not outgrow their socks as fast. I know my kids have worn socks with the heels sliding down into their shoes frequently. With the heal-less and seamless sock option, the socks remain comfortable and durable for much longer.
We reviewed the Pink Ankle Length size Large and White Crew Length size Large for my 3 year old daughter and the White and Navy Crew Length size XL for my son. I also tried the SmartKnitACTIVE CoolMax Running Socks for me.
My kids like their new socks. I have had a hard time finding a crew length sock for my son that will not fall down into his shoes or cut off all circulation in his legs, both are problems we’ve had with his socks repeatedly. I’m happy to say that the SmartKnitKIDS crew socks are a big hit with Elijah. They don’t fall down and aren’t tight or binding on his legs. He said they are “super comfortable”. Elizabeth likes her socks too, mostly because they are a pretty shade of pink with a cute ant cartoon on it. The socks are super soft which she likes too.

Hands On Review of SmartKnitACTIVE CoolMax Running Socks
Good running socks are not easily found. There are more requirements and less options, especially for ladies with size 11 shoes. That’s me. I really like my SmartKnitACTIVE CoolMax Running Socks for several reasons. The #1 feature for me is that they do not fall down or slide around when I’m running. Nothing is worse than having to stop to pull up ill-fitting socks that fall down while running. Secondly, the antimicrobial moisture-wicking fibers keep my feet cool and dry so I can focus on running, not how uncomfortable my socks are making my feet. It’s just plain healthier to having dryer feet when running miles at a time as well. Thirdly, I never realized that seams bothered me until I tried a pair of seamless socks. I’m pretty sensitive to bothersome things such as the seams in my socks moving around while I’m running, it makes it hard for me to focus. SmartKnitACTIVE CoolMax Running Socks stay put. Another benefit to these socks is that there are no blister causing seams, ridges, and pressure points. It was a bit difficult for me to get use to how snug the socks felt, they really do hug your feet. After wearing them a couple times, I got use to this and see it as a benefit to secure socks.
More on SmartKnitKIDS
SmartKnitKIDS was designed by a frustrated mom who was tired of hearing her son scream “these sock seams keep bugging me” every morning. She knew something had to be done but could find no truly seamless socks. SmartKnitKIDS socks are spun like a cocoon from the toe and worked up toward the ankle so there are no seams to bug you. There is a large variety of socks to choose from including : white, black, pink, purple, and navy. Ankle, crew and knee-high styles are available up to a youth size 8. Once people try SmartKnitKIDS, they can’t help but tell everyone. There are many testimonials throughout the website. After you try and love your SmartKnitKIDS, you can tell your story to instantly receive a $5 gift certificate, plus you are entered to win that month’s $50 gift certificate for the most inspiring story.

My nephew was recently diagnosed with a sensory disorder. While she hasn’t started complaining about seams in socks, he won’t wear jeans because of too many uncomfortable seams. I’m thankful there’s a company like this where we can shop for him!
