Automatic Security System to Protect You Against Violent Crimes

Did you know that 1 in 3 woman will be assaulted in their lifetime? And most of the attackers will never be found and prosecuted? As woman in a today’s world, I often feel like I have to be more aware and careful every where I go. When I go out with my friends I never leave my drink unattended, I am selective about the places I go and I always park under street lights. You often hear in the news  about or maybe you even know someone who has been a victim of a violent crime. BUT what if you could carry or wear a device that wasn’t obtrusive but still gave you added security. That’s what the hair clip by First Sign Technologies could do.

This small clip could do a lot to provide added security. It has a accelerometer and gyroscope to detect an impact, for example you being grabbed suddenly. If the clip isn’t deactivated within 15 seconds then the event is monitored in real time. It then uses Bluetooth to access your cellphones gps, camera and microphone to document the event. That information is used to notify emergency services. All photos and audio recorded are would be backed up at the monitoring center.

This way Emergency Services have a way to identify your attacker and proof of the attack. Then they can apprehend and prosecute the attacker. We all like to think it will never happen to us, but one in 3 means you know someone who has or will have an event like this happen. This clip isn’t just for violent crimes, It can be used in many other ways.

Maybe your running or cycling alone and you fall, this clip can get medical help to you right away. Do you travel a lot for your job? Think of it as peace of mind everywhere you go. You could get one for your grandmother, then if she falls medical services will be contacted. While diving it will detect an impact and notify first responders. There is also a panic button for the times when you feel uneasy. One small hair clip with so much added security.

I think this is a great concept! Check them out here on Indiegogo and be a part of making history and our future!
