As a redhead, my skin is sensitive and easily irritated. I was thrilled to receive a full set of the Rodan + Fields SOOTHE Regimen to try for the past 3 weeks so that I could tell my readers my own personal opinions. I’ve head of Rodan + Fields before but never purchased any to try. The one person that I know that uses their products has amazing skin and looks younger than she is. I was excited to review one of their regimens.
Rodan + Fields SOOTHE Regimen for Sensitive Skin
Rodan + Fields SOOTHE Regimen is designed for sensitive, irritated skin and facial redness. I have always had sensitive skin that is easily irritated. Luckily, I don’t have facial redness unless it is irritated.
I have been using the SOOTHE gentle cream wash every morning and night to wash away makeup. I found it to be a very gentle cleanser that didn’t leave a soapy residue and didn’t dry my skin out at all.
From there, I used the SOOTHE sensitive skin treatment. It feels like a thin lotion. It feels soft on my face without tightness and no irritation. It is meant to smooth the skin.
Step 3 is the SOOTHE moisture repair cream. I love this cream, it leaves my face feeling hydrated, calm, and moisturized without feeling heavy. It dries quickly for makeup application.
Step 4 is the SOOTHE mineral sunscreen SPF30. I used this most of the time during my morning routine. It contains a SPF30, which we all need to wear daily – year-round. It doesn’t have a nasty sunscreen smell that some have, although there is an initial light scent that quickly fades. It is meant to not only protect your skin from harmful rays but keeps the skin’s surface cooler to minimize redness. I look forward to seeing how well it does in the hot summer months ahead.
Honestly, I didn’t like having a 4-step plan everyday since I am use to just 2 steps. However, all the products dry quickly, so it didn’t end up being a big deal. I did experience a few bumps on my forehead after using the product for a few days, however this went away in a couple days. From there, I gradually found my skin feeling healthier and my skin color more even.

Like I said, I don’t have red patches of skin to show a good before and after photo. However, I feel like my skin looks healthier and more radiant now than it did 3 weeks ago. My skin is no longer dry and flaky on my forehead like it normally is. I can feel that my skin is smoother and it feels very healthy. I have used all 4 products for 3 weeks and have more than 1/2 left, so I would guess that this would be a full 2 months of product.
