I began blogging days after my son, Elijah was born, I recorded every single thing he did, every tiny change, and how I felt as his mommy. I blogged in an attempt to preserve precious moments that I knew I would never get back. I wanted to remember every single joy that he gave me and my husband.
Once my daughter, Elizabeth was born, I diligently blogged on her life, recording every difference between her and her older brother, the sweet smell of her baby head, and how she felt in my arms. I didn’t want to forget a thing.
I found myself blogging on 2 blogs, almost daily. Then, life happened and I got behind about a year.
Now, I am starting fresh here on AkronOhioMoms.com. I started AkronOhioMoms to help other moms with research that I did on things to do with my kids in the Akron area. I cannot sit at home, I get cabin fever after just 1 day! We’ve expanded the site to include many other things that moms cannot resist, like giveaways, coupons, etc. However, as a mom, my heart is my kids and I’m inviting you along for the journey.
My family is in the middle of quite a journey. We have sold our house and are waiting to hear if the offer we made on our new house will be accepted. Join me in this adventure of moving with kids, decorating all over, creating new spaces that will make the new house a mom, and letting the kids decorate their own bedrooms – should be exciting for a 3 and a 5 year old!
