My father’s been having hearing problems. He’s lost over 95% of his hearing due, to shipboard noise when he was in the navy in his younger days. Sometimes it is hard to understand why something doesn’t work when the doctor tries to explain it.
There’s a brand new tool I discovered today called BodyMaps . It allows you to explore the human body in 3D and is of course interactive.
It’s pretty simple, but it allows you a look at multiple layers of the body, and learn how the body really works, all the way down to the smallest parts of systems and organs. Very NEAT!
What can you do with Body Maps?
- View how the coronary artery delivers blood to the heart
- Get disgusted with plaque build-up on artery walls – and scare yourself into eating heart healthy
- Find out exactly how your son’s arm has been broken, and what’s meant by the type of fracture he has.
- See a cross-section of the human brain, and what’s underneath the grey matter
Just a cool find – share it with your friends!
