Pack Nutritious Snacks this Summer with thinkThin Bars

Now that our kids are out of school, Summer can officially start! Hooray! We spend a lot of time on-the-go in the Summer from vacations to day trips to lazy days at the pool. While not at home, it can be very easy to slip into unhealthy eating on-the-go.

I received product to facilitate this post.

Pack Nutritious Snacks this Summer with thinkThin Bars

I try to pack nutritious snacks for my family and this year I’m armed with gluten-free thinkThin® bars.

I was able to try the new thinkThin Protein Bars, a nutritious snack that helps fuel your day. I don’t know about you but for me, being in the hot sun and trying to keep up with my kids’ energy levels can wipe me out! thinkThin Bars are packed with the protein you need for energy – 10 g per bar!

You can choose from 5 decadent flavors that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. I also like that thinkThin bars are made with very little sugar, just 5g per bar. It just goes to show that a delicious snack doesn’t have to be loaded with sugar, in fact, it is tastier without!

So, how do they taste? DELICIOUS! The chocolate coating is decadent. The bars are soft and a delicately chewy. They taste like a treat, not a protein bar. Plus, each bar is only 150 calories making it a snack that your waistline can afford.

I was able to try out the five new thinkThin Lean Protein & Fiber flavors as well as their Crunch Mixed Nuts flavors and High Protein flavors. For those that like a crunchier, fruity bar, try the thinkThin Crunch.

We are huge peanut butter fans at my house, so the thinkThin Peanut Butter bars are a huge hit – plus, they offer 20g of protein and 0 sugar!thinkthin-2

For a healthy dessert treat, try the chocolaty Brownie Crunch. It satisfies the sweet tooth with loads of protein too!thinkthin-1

I plan to keep a few in my beach bag for trips to the waterpark and pool this Summer so that I’m not tempted to order the cheesy fries or elephant ear from the snack bar! I’m working hard at getting healthier and more fit this year, I don’t want to blow it with poor snack choices this Summer. How about you?
