Plants and flowers add coziness and class to any space. Whether I’m hanging out on my back patio, making our front porch more inviting, or adding a touch of class to a room in our home, plants seem to complete the look. Sometimes, though, I struggle with how to display them. Not any more! I was recently asked to review some iron plant stands from Avant Garden Decor, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Use the Kingston Plant Stands Indoors, Outdoors, Everywhere!
When I received my Kingston plant stands and unwrapped them, I immediately thought about how nice they would look in the front hall, dressed up for the holidays. Poinsettias, anyone?! I added some Christmas bows for pizazz, and just love the completed look.
The plant stands are made from 3/8″ iron with a bronze finish. One is 15″ high, and the other is 21″ high. Each plant stand can hold up to a 10″ pot. They are powder coated and rust resistant, making them strong enough to withstand the elements.
I can also picture how beautiful the plant stands would look out on the front porch, welcoming in friends and family. We don’t have a large porch, but these space-saving plant stands would work great. Using the two heights of stands next to each other really adds interest too. I can see leaving these tailored plant stands on the porch year round, and just changing out the plants each season: Greens, pine cones, berries and twigs for winter, pots of pansies for spring, geraniums for summer, and mums or asters in fall.
Aside from the holidays, these plant stands would make a great showcase for some favorite every day house plants. With young children and two dogs in our house, having plants up off the floor is essential. Besides the Avant Garden Design plant stands being aesthetically pleasing, they also make having plants in the house safer for hard wood and carpeted floors – every had a water ring on a floor from a potted plant? Definitely no fun.
For someone who has just about everything, these plant stands make a practical and unique gift. I think of my mother-in-law, who is a fantastic gardener, and seems to be able to grow just about anything. How wonderful would it be to give her a set of these lovely plant stands for Christmas?!
