With cooler weather, are you finding more insects finding a way inside where it is warm? Are you fighting with ants this season like we were? TruGreen offers Insect Control for your yards and gardens but did you know that they also offer nuisance pest control around the parameter of your house? We recently had nuisance pest control applied to the foundation of our home by TruGreen.
They apply it 2 or 3 times around the entire parameter of your home, spraying about 1 foot up and more than 2 feet out. This gets all the cracks and crevices surrounding your home where insects can retreat and find a way in. Even while the product was being installed, we saw evidence that it was working with falling insects on the ground. Poor lil’ guys! Our TruGreen expert explained that since we are sealing the entrance into our home, it is also the exit for insects that are already inside. We were to expect to see more insects for the first several days or week while the insects are scurrying around, trying to find a new way out. The number did increase, in fact, we were finding ants in different rooms than before, like they were searching for a way out. After the first week, our insect problem was nearly gone.
