I was helping my parents move last weekend. My 9 year old nephew was exploring the new house, in search of batteries. We didn’t realize this until we found a trail of items without batteries afterward including the ceiling light/fan remote, TV remote, computer mouse, and alarm clock. I’m surprised he didn’t climb up to get the batteries out of the smoke detector! He was in search of batteries for his toy train.
When you think about it, batteries run many parts of our home every single day. We really do depend on them to run our homes and to make our lives easier – who wants to get up to change the channel on the TV?! Changing batteries can be a pain – whether or not you have a nephew stealing them from every device in your home. I always get annoyed when toys, remotes, computer mouse, etc stop working and I have to change the batteries – again. Don’t you? The solution is to use batteries that last the longest.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Duracell. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
The new Duracell Quantum batteries offer unbeatable battery power, longer than any alkaline battery! Thanks to the Hi-Density Core, it stores more power than ever. Plus, you can see how much battery power is remaining with the PowerCheck power indicator on the side. Never throw out batteries with remaining power again!

Just like we rely on batteries for so many aspects of our lives, we also rely on first responders across America every single day. To honor these heroes, Duracell Batteries is giving away 1 million Quantum batteries to first responders to power some of their lifesaving equipment.
Many of their stories of bravery, heroism and sacrifice go untold. Duracell is celebrating the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day for us with Quantum Heroes, a documentary style series of videos. Hosted by country music star, Tim McGraw, Quantum Heroes is a documentary-style series that highlights these untold stories. Watch the video clip below of an amazing story that took place right here in Ohio.

Just like first responders, we rely on batteries for many things in life such as our smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, battery back-up alarm clocks, and of course, countless toys that keep our kids entertained and happy. BTW, 1/3 of smoke alarms have non-working batteries. Make it a point to change your batteries during daylight savings time so you never forget.
Buy Duracell Quantum Batteries
It is easy to spot Duracell Quantum batteries in stores because they are red, not black like all the others. Stock up on Duracell Quantum batteries this Christmas season for toys and electronics. Don’t worry if you get too many (like that could ever happen!) because they have a shelf life of up to 10 years when in storage.
Be sure to include these batteries in all Christmas gifts you give this season too. I sent a pack of Duracell Quantum batteries home with my nephew for his toy train, it should be running for months to come!
