I’m with most of you, I’m sick and tired of snow, especially on the day before April. However, I have to admit that it is gorgeous! I can’t complain when it’s this beautiful. It reminds me of God’s beauty and how He tries to show it to us daily, sometimes we just complain and don’t really see it.

Kids love playing in the snow, especially this kind as it’s great for snow balls! We had a snow ball fight last night at Kohl’s, it was a blast. I was the odd mom out there in the grassy area throwing snow balls at my kids. Oh well!
My kids also like their Backyard Discovery playset in the snow. It’s so much fun to slide down the slide and push the snow out of the way. Elizabeth usually heads for the slide first and then Elijah realizes what she is doing and rushes over. They usually go down together for the 1st big push. Sometimes they fall off 1/2 way down, not sure what Backyard Discovery’s view on sliding with snow is. LOL

This was our one last shot at playing in the snow this year, HOPEFULLY. So, it was extra fun for my kids and myself. 🙂 Although I really, really can’t wait for all the Spring and Summer activities to begin, snow is pretty fun. If we could have the snow without the cold, I’d be set! How about you?
This was not a paid post. My own opinions were used based on my perceptions and experience. Thank you to Backyard Discovery who supplied the product for review and the ongoing relationship with AkronOhioMoms.com. Check out the great selection of playsets from Backyard Discovery at www.swingsetsonline.com
It’s the best kind of snow when it loads down the trees and just clings to everything. It’s beautiful, so is the sunshine though!
Cute, Cindy! And good for you, getting down and snowy with the kids–hopefully you inspired a few other parents to do the same. It was a most beautiful snowfall, wasn’t it? The trees are so loaded. 🙂
I agree, Dave, I’ve considered moving to Florida this Winter with all the cold and snow! It’s just been a lot this year. At this point, we are all sooooooo ready to warm up. My son even said, “Mom, snow is really exciting at first and now it is getting boring.”
I can tell you that up here in Minnesota, if we get another snow storm, we’re packing up shop and getting the heck out of here. Looks like your kiddos had a great time…while the white stuff drives us adults crazy, it’s nice to live vicariously through our kids as they romp around in it! Glad you got one (hopefully) last blast of winter!
