We just returned for a trip to Cape Cod and had a wonderful time. I’ll be sharing more in posts to come. One thing that I forgot to bring was a stain treater. I didn’t get to the clothes for days after the stains occurred, I wasn’t too worried because I have a great washer and a good system for stains at home. When I got home, my daughter’s new white shirt was a mess with stains! I was able to capture this beautiful shot of her at the beach in her new white shirt I bought for back-to-school. Isn’t she beautiful?
Keep Clothes Newer Longer with OxiClean
I have used OxiClean for most of my adult life. I add a scoop of OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover powder to most every load of laundry, especially dirty towels and my kids messy clothes. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating. I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OxiClean.
When the shirt got home it had stains of spaghetti, cheesy popcorn, and juice. If I didn’t use OxiClean, I would have assumed it was a ruined new shirt. I wasn’t worried. I added OxiClean to the load and threw it in my washer.

I like OxiClean because I can add a scoop to the load of laundry and let it tackle the stains that I didn’t even know where there on my kids clothes. It is how I keep their clothes looking newer for longer. With all the money we have spent on back-to-school clothes for our kids this month, do yourself a favor and don’t let them get ruined by missed stains!
There is nothing worse than noticing a stain AFTER taking it out of the dryer when it is already set. OxiClean finds and tackles the stains you don’t even realize are there before they become set and impossible to get out.
You can even use OxiClean as a pre-treater for the stubborn stains you do notice! I love products that are versatile, don’t you?
Out came a clean, like-new white shirt again. Seriously, just do yourself a favor and add OxiClean to every load. It is an easy way to keep whites white and colors bright – while fighting all the stains before they set in with the heat of the dryer!

OxiClean for Household Cleaning
OxiClean can be used to tackle stains throughout your home too like stains on carpets or upholstery and on hard surfaces in your kitchen and bathroom.
I have a beautiful Elkay vessel sink in our guest bathroom. It is made of bronze and not easy to keep clean. Ideally, you would wash the sink with hot water only after every single use and dry it. You have to watch what kinds of soap you use to. Well, we don’t wash it out every time and the soap leaves marks that don’t come clean easily even with gentle cleansers. I decided to give OxiClean a try since it is a chlorine free, oxygen based cleaner.

It may look like just soap in the bowl but believe me, it is stained and impossible to clean. I added a paste of OxiClean to the bowl and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. That is the secret of using OxiClean, put it on and let it sit for 5-30 minutes while it does the work for you.

I rinsed it clean – didn’t even use the scrub brush that is in the picture above because I didn’t need to – and because I’m not suppose to.

It came out looking better than it has in a very long time! Easy peasy!
For those that like to know how a product works…OxiClean is activated by water. It unleashes bubbling oxygen when met with water to give you a chlorine free, color safe, oxygen based cleaner.
