Is Being A Surrogate Mother For You?

Are you thinking about becoming a surrogate mother? Surrogate mothers help families who can’t conceive, or struggle to conceive to have a baby. This can be an amazing thing to do, and make you feel incredible – you’re helping a family’s dream to come true! However, it isn’t necessarily for everybody.

To be a surrogate mother, you need to be between the ages of 21 and 42. Any younger and you may not be able to deal with the emotional side of it. You’re not only giving up your time and energy, but your body too. You will get financially rewarded for being a surrogate, but you’ll also get a sense of fulfillment thanks to helping somebody less fortunate than yourself. In fact, many women report that the best thing about it for them was feeling in awe about the service they provided. Many surrogates actually become an extended family member for the family they have helped afterwards!

You will need to look at different clinics, as they will have different requirements that surrogates need to fit in with. The most important thing to do is make sure you’ve done thorough research on this, and you know what you’re getting yourself into. You need to be physically and mentally prepared for a change as big as this. If you want to learn more about becoming a surrogate, the following infographic can help you:
