Life after death is a topic that intrigues us all. What happens after we die? Where do we go? If you are a Christian, you have the promise of everlasting life in Heaven. Yet, we still question what it will be like because it is generally not something people can write home about once they cross over. Except for a few people that have had near death experiences.
Today, I’m excited to introduce you to Tommy Rosa, a NDE survivor. He is now a spiritual counselor who helps people conquer their fear of death.

One of the questions I’m asked most frequently, after people read my book “Health Revelations from Heaven and Earth” and hear my story, is what it felt like physically to leave my body and be in spirit form. Today, I’m going to share with you more of the details behind my near death experience, and the miraculous privilege of visiting Heaven and returning to Earth.
Even though my Near Death Experience was the result of being struck in a hit and run accident by a car, I felt no pain upon leaving my body, nor was I even consciously aware of the fact that I had literally “died”. In the moments that followed the accident, I found myself in a tunnel of utterly pure and brilliant white light, which radiated an all-encompassing feeling of peace and safety.
I moved through this tunnel face first, and though it was bright white in the center, there were brilliant streaks of delicate pinks and blues at the edges, creating a gorgeous mosaic of beautiful, ethereal light rays. I felt no need to analyze or attempt to figure out where I was, because the feeling of serenity and peacefulness was so strong. I instinctively felt inclined to surrender to this feeling, this sensation that I was totally safe and in a place where no harm could come to me, and allow myself to be whisked onwards.
I then found myself in a room, and as the brilliant light which transported me faded, I was aware again of my “body,” or “form.” Though I was able to move, upon standing up, I saw that my feet were no longer touching the ground, but hovering several inches above the floor, suspended and in defiance of gravity. I tried walking, and was able to glide forward effortlessly. Though I realized logically that this should seem strange or bizarre, the feeling of peacefulness and love was so strong that I couldn’t find any reason to question what was happening to me. On a deeper level, below conscious thought, what would ordinarily seem like incredible phenomena in that moment struck me as wholly natural.
In this state, I was able to see, hear, think and feel. All of my senses were intact and functional, and the only other indication of not being still literally “corporeal” was that when I went to touch my arm, my hand went right through. It was then that I truly knew I was in spirit form.
Though in an altered state of “spirit body,” I still felt distinctly like myself. There were no mirrors around but I could still sense that I was as I had known myself to be during life-the body and form were the same, but there was a greater sensitivity to the vibration and frequencies of the things around me.
In Heaven, everything has a frequency and vibrates with God’s Unconditional Divine Love. You can feel this everywhere-in the plants, the flowers, the animals and the other people. Everything is connected, unified by this frequency of divine love. It’s unlike anything on Earth and the feeling of gloriousness and peace is difficult to describe. Mere words don’t really have the capacity to do justice to something so remarkable, though at the time, it felt right and innate to me. It wasn’t until much later that, reflecting back, I realized how remarkable the experience really was.
When I returned back to my physical body and resumed my life on Earth, it took me years to fully process what had happened to me. I was hesitant to share my experience with other people for fear of being labeled as crazy or delusional. I knew deep down that I truly did visit Heaven, and had experienced something exquisite and miraculous, but I wasn’t ready to reveal what I had felt and seen during my visit to Heaven until much later.
I hope that in sharing my story, you come away with a renewed sense of serenity and security in that there is something more after this physical life, that Heaven is a real, true place and that it is spectacularly beautiful and more vibrant than anything we can even compare it to on Earth. There is no pain there-the only feeling is the sense of God’s Unconditional Love.
What I have described here is only the beginning of my experience. Soon after arriving in Heaven, I met a special Teacher whom passed on to me wisdom and teachings which would later become the basis for my book “Health Revelations from Heaven and Earth.”
