Download the Hospital Safety Score App from the iTunes or Google Play, or log on to www.hospitalsafetyscore.com. Then by simply entering a hospital name or city and state, users can research hospital patient safety ratings. The Leapfrog Group analyzed 26 nationally-used safety benchmarks to come up with an overall letter grade score for hospitals across the nation. I was surprised with how some of my local hospitals faired.
The Hospital Safety Score App and website make it easy to find a load of patient resources from driving directions to a given hospital to advice on how to plan your next hospital stay.
