This Apple Barley Salad is not only a delightful fall dish but also a nutritional powerhouse. Apples are rich in quercetin, a compound that supports the immune system and helps protect cells from oxidative damage. Plus, the barley provides fiber, B vitamins, and selenium, making this salad both filling and nourishing.
Whether you’re enjoying it as a side dish or a light meal, this salad is a perfect way to celebrate the season’s bounty while reaping the health benefits of apples.
