Summertime Sugar-Dusted Beignet Iced Coffee

This lightly sweet iced coffee has the delightful flavor of French dough and powdered sugar from the Community Sugar-Dusted Beignet.  By freezing the coffee instead of using ice cubes, your iced coffee will be full of flavor to the very last drop! This recipe is easy to prepare and can be made ahead of time. Simply freeze your coffee in ice cube trays ahead of time.

I usually freeze any leftover coffee that my husband and I don’t drink. Once the coffee freezes, I store the coffee cubes in a zip lock bag. The frozen coffee will stay fresh for 2 weeks. If you have creamer or milk that is about to spoil, freeze that too. I actually like to freeze my creamer for iced coffee because it slowly releases and keeps my iced coffee at the perfect level to the very last drop.

You can even crate a frappe by using your blender to crush the frozen coffee cubes. Add extra milk and you’ve got a delicious, inexpensive and low-calorie frappe. Summertime coffee drinks don’t need to be complicated or expensive when you make it at home with quality coffee.

You really can use any coffee but I prefer a lighter coffee for the warmer months. In fact, the Community Coffee Sugar-Dusted Beignet is quite delicious hot too!

It has a light sweet taste which makes me less inclined to add sugar or sweetener to the coffee!

Community Coffee has a nice selection of affordable coffee that you can buy on their website and at stores nationwide.

I hope you enjoy my Summertime Sugar-Dusted Beignet Iced Coffee recipe!
