What I like most about this furniture is that it doesn’t become obsolete once your babies grow up! It is built and styled to grow with your child. My ‘baby’ is now 10 years old. We recently added the Delta Somerset 6 Drawer Dresser to his room and we are so pleased with how sturdy it is, the style, and how spacious it is.
This dresser doesn’t scream “baby!” like other children’s furniture does. It is a nice, modern piece of furniture that works well with his modern on-wall desk next to it. The dark chocolate matches perfectly with both his desk and bed. As you can see, this is a lovely piece of furniture for both babies and big boys!
One of the nicest parts of this dresser are the drawers. To me, the drawers determine whether a dresser is good or bad. The 6 drawers in this Delta dresser are amazing with a smooth metal glide system that make opening and closing the drawers a breeze. You never have to worry about the drawers falling out of the frame either because there are safety stops.
Upon arrival, we did have to assemble the dresser. I’ve had other furniture that required assembly and I’ve not been pleased with the quality. I crossed my fingers when this dresser arrived, especially since it is at a really good price point.
Both my husband and I were very pleasantly pleased with the quality of the Delta Children Somerset dresser. It is really easy to assemble and built sturdy when complete.
With 6 drawers, my son has more than enough space for all of his clothing. It is easy to keep everything organized when everything has its own drawer too.
Assembling the dresser took a couple hours. We were impressed at how solid the construction is for this piece of furniture.
All of the pieces were nicely labeled with secure, solid wood connections.
We assembled in our living room and then transported it to my son’s bedroom.
I really like the design, including the rounded top that is such a great idea for every child’s bedroom!
The Delta Children Somerset Dresser has been a very nice improvement to my son’s bedroom. It is classic, yet modern in style to carry him through his teen years.
