In the past I have never put an crazy amount of thought into our nursery design. With Kelton we had a very tight budget and I couldn’t make up my mind. When I was expecting Kiernan, I knew I wanted something simple and clean, plus he was staying in our room so there wasn’t much planning needed. This time I am feeling the need to actually put a lot of thought and effort into our little girls room.
Contemporary Elegance
Being as this is my 1st girl and my last baby I want to enjoy the “girly” aspects of nursery decorating and our home is more traditional. So the 1st room I came up with is very much with the flow of our home. I started with a beautiful crib and dresser from Bratt Decor with clean lines and beautiful detailing. I wanted to use rich color and keep it mature. So our little girl won’t grow out of the style quickly. Featuring The Chelsea Lifetime Crib and Chelsea Dresser both in antique silver I would add a bold color chandelier and have custom bedding in satin. I love a classic rug to ground a room and pretty floral wall art.
Fit For a Princess
My 2nd room design is very much a little girls dream room. I am in love with the oval shaped crib and the white, pink and gray colors. I didn’t add bedding to this because if this is our choice I will make the bedding possibly in pink satin fabric. This Design Features the Chelsea Darling CribCradle, Chelsea Darling Dresser with Changer, Chelsea Bookcase in white finish, Elk Lighting Mini Candelabra, Crystals Rose Cottage Chic Bed Crown set .
Room Filled with Joy
With this room I wanted to show you a whole room using only items from Bratt Decor. To me this is a vintage classic room with a pop. I love the softness of the pewter finishes again the bold pop of bedding color. With Bratt Decor you can really have it all and in one spot. This design features Joy Crib in Pewter , the Joy changing table in Pewter, Hot Pink chandelier, Slate Sheepskin rug and the studded brilliance glider. You could always mix things up easily and do the Monaco Glider and Ottoman instead.
