Teaching tiny tots to feed themselves can by a trying task if you want minimal clean up after the meal is complete. My 1-year-old can self-feed but still has a spill or two a few times a week. I can’t imagine how I would have taught my three children to hold and use a spoon and drink from a cup, however, without the practical, easy-to-use and seemingly indestructible products by Gerber and NUK.

The Gerber PlateMat can roll or fold up and lays flat to dry. It even can be put in the dishwasher! 
My son really enjoyed his first experience with his “rocket ship cup,” as he named it! The Gerber Advanced Development Cup is insulated and helps a child move from the bottle to a regular cup. It comes in adorable designs for boys and girls. This product contains a bite-resistant spout and is leak, spill and break proof. My 1-year-old found it very easy to use. 
I specifically was pleased with the Gerber Toddler Snacker, a set of three stackable containers. These are perfect for our family because we often are on the go. 
The Toddler Snacker is a great system to keep snacks fresh, and they fit in the cup holders in our minivan. It was smart of Gerber to include measurements on the side of each container, in my opinion! This product also is safe to place in the dishwasher, microwave and freezer. My son easily can get his snacks out of these containers, and they really are the perfect size.
