NurturMe New Organic Quinoa Cereals

When Kiernan was younger and had severe acid reflux, I had to be very careful about what baby food he ate and I had a really hard time finding foods that didn’t seem to upset his reflux. When I found NurturMe it made feeding him easier and less stressful. It was also convenient, all the foods are packaged well and made well.

When Kiernan had bad acid reflux we had to add rice cereal to his milk (both breast milk and when he was on whole milk).  At the time there weren’t a lot of options. Now we can offer him Quinoa Cereal. Quinoa is protein packed, which is great for me since Kiernan isn’t big on protein meats. Quinoa also has lot of fiber which is great because like everyone a good digestive balance is needed for health and comfort.

Added Benefits of Quinoa

Quinoa makes a great starter food for babies as it is hypoallergenic, gluten, dairy and soy free.  It contains natural choline for brain development and Omega 3, 6, 9 fatty acids for brain and eye development.  This Quinoa is easily mixed with water or milk for Kiernan but can easily be mixed with breast milk for a young baby. NurturMe offers two options just quinoa or apple-quinoa. Kiernan liked the apple-quinoa better then the plain. One of my favorite things about NurturMe is that I can make it as watery or thick as I like. Kiernan likes his cereal thicker.
