Hands On ProFlowers Review

Years ago, I enjoyed having live plants in our home. With a move and my first newborn on the way, my plants were being neglected. I gave them all to my mom to rescue them. 5 years later, I miss having live plants in my home, especially during cold, winter months.

It was so exciting to receive a live plant! It was packaged in a large box and wrapped nicely. The Orchid was picture perfect, as was the tin container.

The Song of India Orchid Garden comes with 1 yellow phalaenopsis orchid and 1 Song of India foliage plant. My plant had 2 blooms with several buds ready to pop in the days ahead.

Isn’t it beautiful!? I have wanted an Orchid plant since last winter when I fell in love with them at Christmas time. Orchids are perfect gift ideas all year long and with ProFlowers, you can order it year-round. You don’t have to wait until Summer or special occasion shipments at the retailers.

The blooms are suppose to last 8-12 weeks. I like that the Song of India foliage plant will continue to give this planter life until the next blooms on the orchid appear. The tapered black tin container looks like today’s popular decor, I could see this plant in a home or office easily.

This plant gets more beautiful by the day! 1 week later, and my orchid is thriving with4 gorgeous blooms! A common misconception is that orchids are difficult to care for. This is far from the truth. In fact, orchids require water only every 5-10 days depending on the type. I have a yellow phalaenopsis orchid which is healthier if the soil becomes slightly dry between watering. An easy way to water orchids is using ice cubes, about 4-5 a week. That’s what I have done so far and have had good results.  See the ice cube in the picture below.

My personal favorite is their Green Plants collection, they make perfect gifts for men and women and last for as long as you want them. This would fit in perfectly in my bedroom, adding a tropical flair to my decor. It’s easy maintenance, doesn’t require much light, and tropical.

I would love, love, love receiving the ProFlowers Deluxe Smiles and Sunshine anytime of year, especially during our long, cold Ohio winter months. This arrangement would brighten up any day and any room. I would place it on my dining room table so I could see if from basically any room.
