My family loves animals, especially the wild animals we get to see often in our back yard including deer, birds, wild turkeys, coyotes, and even a red fox. When the below freezing temperatures of Ohio’s Winters arrive, we often talk about how do wild animals survive Ohio’s freezing Winters. With record breaking below zero temperatures, our hearts go out to these creatures who can’t just crank up the furnace or bundle up in a thick coat.
I’m so excited to share with my kids a book entitled, “Frozen Wild: How Animals survive in the Coldest Places on Earth” this Winter.
I received product to facilitate this post.
In this beautifully illustrated book, Frozen Wild: How Animals survive in the Coldest Places on Earth, you and your kids will follow follow otters, beavers, moose, polar bears, penguins, fur seals, and other wild animals in their natural habitat in some of the coldest places in the world.
The format of this book is engaging and inviting for kids to read and discover an icy cold world in which animals and nature survive year after year. Several page flip out to a full color 3-page display of specific animals with visuals and descriptions on how that animal survives the cold, Frozen Wild.
This makes a fantastic gift for kids that love animals and nature.
