Have you visited the new LEGO store at Beachwood Place yet? If not, you are missing out on the most amazing selection and displays of LEGO sets. My kids just started enjoying LEGO toys over the past 6 months. They were so excited to see so many LEGO sets, no store comes remotely close to the # of sets you can choose from. While there, we saw many LEGO fans from young to old like kids in a candy store, in awe at all the sets. There are sets for the youngest of kids to more advanced sets for teens and adults.
The store is packed floor to ceiling with LEGO sets you can’t find anywhere else. Plus, there are many, many displays already built for you to check out. My kids went from display to displays just looking at them in amazement. I did too! The larger than life 8′ R2D2 was simply stunning. Who knows how many hours that display took to build!
[slickr-flickr tag=”LEGO”]In the middle of the store, you and your kids can enjoy the LEGO “Living Room” where you can enjoy some hands-on fun. There were 3 computers set up ready for fun with LEGO games.
There was also a very cool kiosk where you hold up a LEGO box to the kiosk and it gives you a 3D image of what the LEGO set looks like built. You can see the built set from all angles by moving the box. It is so neat! What a fun way to check out what each set will look like.
Activities and Events at Beachwood Place LEGO Store
If you are looking for something fun for your kid aged 6-14, the LEGO Store at Beachwood Place is the cool place to be.
The 1st Tuesday of every month is a Mini-Model Building Day. This is a FREE event to the first 250 kids, while supplies last. A new model is available every month with a new theme. One free per child for kids 6-14 only.
Join the LEGO Club Meetings on select Saturdays each month. See store for details. You can enjoy build activities with your fellow Club Members (up to 20). are held at your local LEGO Store where you can come and build with fellow Club Members! Cost is $25 per meeting and includes a free LEGO Club t-shirt ($14.99 value).
