I recently stopped by our local BJ’s Wholesale Club in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to pick up a few hostess gifts for upcoming Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve/Day gatherings. I found so many choices that I just had to share with you. These hostess gifts are thoughtful without breaking the bank.

Gifts for the home, the table, products to pamper, chocolates, candies, and specialty drinks all make thoughtful, inexpensive hostess gifts that will make any hostess feel appreciate. Let’s face it, hosting a party takes a lot of time, energy, and money, it feels good to be appreciated with more than just a, “Thanks for hosting” comment on the way out the door.

One of my favorite ideas is this Marble and Acacia Wood Cheeseboard for $19.99. I would bring this filled with cheeses and antipasti appetizers to the party and leave the tray for the hostess to enjoy. It’s a two-for-one type of gift because every hostess appreciates a little extra party food too.

Although you don’t have to break the bank to give a nice hostess gift, you should consider what the hostess will be spending on you for the party. If there will be elaborate party food, decorations, and drinks in which the hostess is providing everything, it is nice to be considerate and bring a nicer hostess gift.
