I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Lionsgate. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
I am a huge fan of romantic movies, especially if there is a time element to it. I can’t wait to see The Age Of Adaline, in theaters nationwide on April 23, 2015. The trailer has intrigued me. It looks like a great movie for everyone, especially for date night and girls’ night out!
This movie looks fascinating and gripping. The very thing that most of us long for – eternal youth – is the curse on Adaline. The story looks like it will be emotionally stirring and even though none of us are going exactly through what Adaline is going through – stuck in time – we all have the relational fears, challenges, and desire to love and be loved fully.
This movie looks fascinating and gripping. The very thing that most of us long for – eternal youth – is the curse on Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) who will never age a day. Adaline has kept her secret all her life, never allowing herself to fall in love or settle down. She lives life on the run, on run from her age. Essentially, she is stuck in time and unable to enjoy the normal process of aging – including falling in love and aging with a spouse.

Although a romantic movie, this movie goes beyond romance to the very element of what makes us tick.
This movie looks to be the perfect story of romance, true love, and letting go. I’m already cheering for Adaline and I haven’t even seen the movie yet! I know it will be full of suspense too – will Adaline continue to live life on the run or will she allow others in on her unique life of stopped time? I have a feeling that her daughter is going to have a powerful impact on that decision. The trailer already eluded to a beautiful relationship between mother and daughter. How incredibly unique would it be for your own daughter to grow up and older than yourself, right before your eyes? What a challenge and what a bond -perhaps the daughter is the closet person to Adaline, for there is no way she could her secret from her.
I plan to see The Age of Adaline with my sister and mom. We don’t see many movies together, but this movie is the perfect movie for moms and daughters, girl’s night out, or a date night. It is filled with mystery, romance, suspense, and even great fashion. I love seeing fashion throughout time, especially within a “time-traveling” sort of story through decades of Adaline’s life, as I gave a glimpse in the header image.
I plan to see it with my sister and mom because I know they would both like it too, plus I like the beautiful mother/daughter theme.
This movie seems to have it all and will be a great movie for all ages. Make plans to see it with friends, family, or your spouse on April 23rd!
