MEGA Bloks Domino Build Game Review

My family loves playing games. Finding a game that is fun for both a 4 and a 6 year old can be a challenge. It can’t take too long or my 4 year old will lose interest, it has to be fun or my 6 year old won’t play. Also, we spend more time playing with building blocks than any other activity. When I heard about the MEGA Bloks Domino Build game, I knew it would be a hit with my family.

Hands on Review of MEGA Bloks Domino Build Game

This game is intended for kids 3-6. The MEGA Bloks Domino Build Game is a fun way for kids to learn about colors, numbers, matching, and motor skills while having fun at the same time. It is also a quick game to play which allows kids to learn social skills and taking turns before they get bored, frustrated, or uninterested. My kids are 4 & 6 years old and caught on right away with this game.

The Domino Build Game is based on the simple domino rules. Instead of the domino dots, this game uses 11 different colorful, vivid, friendly animals. This is a beautifully made game with great use of primary colors that makes the game even more exciting. The artwork is well done too.

So, where do MEGA Bloks come into play? Each time you make a match on the board, you get one more MEGA Blok to build your animal. Once you get 4 matches, you win! See, it is a very quick moving game so you can play again and again to give each person a chance to win. We all know how important winning is for kids!

The MEGA Bloks Domino Build game is fun for boys and girls. It is intended for ages 3-6 and that age is right-on with our experience.  I like how this game incorporates a lot of movement and active learning. Kids are not just moving their game piece a few spaces like other games. With this game, your kids are actively matching colors, shapes, and designs. They are taking turns, building their MEGA Bloks animal, and following the rules of the game. This is sure to be a family favorite.
