We were able to test out the TONKA XT Ricochet Tricksters Remote Controlled Car with With Signature Trick Zig-Zag Jolt! This is one powerful, yet small remote controlled car! When I say powerful, I mean it! It speeds off in forward, reverse, left, or right. Plus, it is double-sided, so if it runs against something and flips over, it just keeps on going! That is one of the best parts, there is no frustrations of flipping the car back over if it turns upside down, the Trickster just keeps on going! This is very important for kids that are just learning to operate a remote controlled car.
The TONKA XT Tricksters operate with infrared technology. You can actually play with all 3 TONKA XL Tricksters in the same room. Each car and remote control has 3 different channels. Simply pick a channel for each car and drive all 3 around. What a party that would be!
My 9 year old nephew had a great time testing out the TONKA XT infrared r/c car. The car is for ages 6 and up. My son liked playing with it too, he is 6. It is a great “real” remote controlled car for younger kids like him but I can easily see teens enjoying it too because of the good tricks it does and the power and speed it provides.
The TONKA XT Tricksters offer 20 minutes of high energy fun per battery charge. The car has a rechargeable battery, simply hook it up to your remote control, charge it, and you are ready to go again. The remote control takes 5 AA batteries.
