If you only do one thing with your family in San Francisco, make it a sightseeing tour with Ride The Ducks. It is the only tour that takes you throughout the city and into the water at McCovey Cove! We were even able to get behind the wheel and drive our duck while cruising the waters!
I received tickets to facilitate this post.
Ride The Ducks San Francisco Tour
We had a fantastic time touring the city on our Ride the Ducks tour, laughing, singing, and dancing the whole way! Not only did we get to see the entire city and learn facts about it, we were thoroughly entertained and engaged the entire trip. Our captain was hilarious, simply hilarious with tasteful jokes that had kids and adults alike laughing.
During our tour, we learned all about San Francisco including the present and past of buildings and landmarks. We saw Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, Chinatown (where the locals go), Ghirardelli Square (where I learned of free samples), North Beach, McCovey Cove, AT&T Ballpark, and more.
I enjoyed learning interesting details about San Francisco that I would have never known elsewhere. It is no wonder why San Francisco is one of the most visited cities in the world!
Ride The Ducks offers the unique experience of both land and water tour because of their vehicles that are based on the classic WWII DUKW vehicles. We were able to get up close to the AT&T ballpark and learn interested facts about players, games, and even how boaters hang out by the field to catch home run balls and what they sell for on e-bay!
During every vacation, I try to get my family out on the water one way or another. This was our chance to experience San Francisco Bay in a whole new way. Plus, it gave great views of the city too. I enjoy experiencing our vacation destinations from a whole new perspective on the waters. Ride The Ducks is the only San Francisco tour that offers both land and water tours. It was so fun in the bay, we were in the water for about 25 minutes. We even saw a seal resting under a bridge!
Our tour guide gave everyone the chance to take the captain’s seat too. My son and I had a blast! It is scarier than it looks! LOL
Be sure to buy a quacker before you get on the tour because another thing that makes Ride the Ducks different from other tours is that everyone is quaking! It brings a huge grin to my face just recalling our experience with Ride the Ducks San Francisco and I highly recommend it to everyone who visits the city by the bay.
