The Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet presents The Little Mermaid The Little Mermaid at the Akron Civic Theatre on March 10th and 11th, 2012.
You and your family won’t want to miss seeing the beloved Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale come to life through a beautiful ballet. The Little Mermaid is a delightful story of a young mermaid longing to become a human girl to win the love of a human prince. She is willing to give up her life and home in the sea to follow her dreams.
The Little Mermaid is a beautiful full-length ballet where you will transported under the sea. The stage will be transformed with eels, sharks, starfish, crabs, a school of fish and an angel fish.
If you and your family have never been to the ballet and not sure what to expect, read my review on Madeline at the Circus. The Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet performed this ballet last year, it was fantastic. My daughter has been going to ballets since she was 3 years old and each year, she enjoys them even more. She proclaimed that she wants to be on stage some day when she was just 3! We even reviewed the preschool dance classes with CVYB.
The Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet is a pre-professional dance company founded in 1975 by founding Artistic Director, Nan Klinger.

You can buy The Little Mermaid and the reprise of Seasoning, coming to the Akron Civic Theather on March 10th and 11th, 2012. On the Akron Civic Theatre Website. At the Civic Theatre Box Office, located in the Arcade accessed from Main Street Monday through Friday between the hours of 11:00am to 4:00pm .
