The Perfect Summer Movie for the Perfect Family Night

The Perfect Summer is about a fatherless teenage boy named Jake, whose mother moves him from Chicago to a small beach town to live with an estranged grandfather (Eric Roberts).  Through this difficult transition, Jake gets into some trouble with a local bully, who doesn’t like that Jake shows interest in a young surfer named Kayla.

Jake is miserable coming from the city to the beach. Local surf shop owner Cody (Jason Castro), reveals to Jake that his grandfather was a surfing legend, which sparks Jake’s interest to build a relationship with his grandfather, while learning to surf.

The Perfect Summer is a great movie for the whole family! It is full of action and fun with some great opportunities to talk with your children about bullying and how to deal with certain situations.
